ISIS Looking for Mass Casualty Attacks

Oct 20, 2017

Officials in Great Britain and the United States are predicting that the defeat of the ISIS caliphate and the capture of its de-facto capitol in Raqqa, Syria will likely cause the Islamic terrorist group and its affiliates to plan mass casualty attacks. The leaders of ISIS are desperate to make their movement relevant again so they can recruit more fighters to commit terrorism. The head of British Intelligence and the Attorney General of the United States have also said that steps must be taken to strengthen the gathering of information about major attacks. The probable targets include airlines, airports, and sporting events. The group will probably continue encouraging smaller lone wolf attacks, but are desperate for a bigger score.
