It has been confirmed that U.S. backed Syrian rebels have taken away the de-facto capitol of the ISIS empire, Raqqa. This is more evidence that the ISIS forces are disintegrating rapidly, and the vicious group of radical Islam fighters is losing its capacity to maintain its army and of territory. This is something that was unexpected a year ago when Donald Trump had just been elected and the U.S. military was still operating under the restrictive rules of the Obama administration. However, the victories on the battlefield have not eliminated the ISIS terrorist threat, but will hopefully reduce their capacity to recruit foreign fighters in other countries.
