Soros Donates Massive Fortune to His Foundation

Oct 18, 2017

George Soros donated $18 billion to his Open Society Foundations (OSF). The transfer allows Soros to avoid paying death taxes on his massive wealth. And it allows his network of non-profits to continue his leftist agenda in Europe, the United States, and around the world. The man who fancies himself “as some kind of god” has used is organization in Europe to defeat populist candidates who don’t ascribe to his open borders agenda. His organization has funneled money to government officials through a German think tank. He sees the influx of migrants as a new opportunity to influence migration policies in Europe. In the United States, his foundation has funded Trump resistance groups, Black Lives Matters, as well as opposition research into critics of Islam. Even though Soros is an advocate of big government and higher taxes, he has avoided paying at least $7 billion in taxes to the IRS. It is not clear if his $18 billion donation to his foundation lets him avoid his tax bill. The Soros foundation is considered the second-largest philanthropic organization in the United States.
