The ratings for the NFL continued to fall this past Monday when the Kansas City Chiefs played the Washington Redskins. This has occurred despite the fact that fewer players participated in the anthem protests last Sunday than the week before. However, the NFL cause was not helped by the actions of two Kansas City players, Marcus Peters and Ukeme Eligwe sat down during the anthem immediately after a moment of silence was held for the victims of the Las Vegas massacre. In the meantime, it has been reported that NFL owners are deeply divided over the protests with some wanting them to end while others continue to support the protests. In the meantime a major car dealership in New Jersey has pulled its NFL ads for the rest of the season.
