While they are clearly getting very nervous about the declining numbers of Americans watching the NFL on television, most corporate sponsors are keeping silent on the issue and just hoping it will all go away. That is not the case for two major sponsors, Nike and Hyundai have decided to come down directly on the side of the anthem protestors. In doing so they are essentially telling the majority of the American people to drop dead.
Some Americans are already reacting by pledging not to buy the products of corporations that betray American values.
