Tales of Heroism Abound in Las Vegas

Oct 3, 2017

While liberal politicians like Hillary Clinton and the two Democrat Senators from Connecticut were trying to score political points for gun control following the events in Las Vegas, other stories were emerging of heroism and compassion. The people of Vegas responded during the shooting by helping others out of the line of fire even at the risk of their own lives. First responders used their own bodies to shield people from the hail of bullets while police charged the hotel when they realized where the fire was coming from.

Other citizens drove their private vehicles into the area and loaded the wounded on to them to take them to hospitals, and relieve the crush of some of the wounded facing the EMTs. Then the day after the attacks, with over 500 people in local hospitals, thousands of people lined up in stifling heat for hours to donate blood.
