The United States Supreme Court is beginning a historic new term this coming Monday with many major cases to be decided. There are 43 cases currently on the docket with more expected to be added. The issues include civil rights, presidential powers, privacy rights and religious liberty issues.
It will also be historic because it will be the first full term for Neil Gorsuch, the newest justice on the court, and quite possibly the last term for Justice Anthony Kennedy, who is rumored to be planning to retire at the end of this term. His retirement would put President Trump in a position to solidify a conservative majority on the court for years to come.
