YouTube and its parent company Google are coming under increasing fire for targeting conservative groups for censorship. In the case of Google it consists of basically moving conservative groups from its search engine entirely or moving them to obscure places where they are difficult to find. In the case of YouTube they are demonetizing certain videos that it deems politically incorrect. This essentially means that the entities cannot collect advertising revenue for ads sponsoring their videos. The companies claim they are protecting people from “hate” speech, but many groups or individuals are apparently being targeted because they committed such transgressions as supporting President Trump and his agenda.
