State Department Contemplating Cutting Embassy staff in Cuba

Sep 29, 2017

With at least twenty one members of the United States Diplomatic staff in Cuba, and some Canadian diplomats continue to suffer from the effects of mysterious sonic, or other type of attacks on them, the U.S. State Department is considering a withdrawal. Reports are that it is considering significantly reducing the diplomatic staff in Cuba until such time it is believed it is safe for them to return.

Despite an intense investigation there has no determination of the cause or the origin of the attacks. In addition, the Cuban government that claimed to be investigating on its own now seems to be saying the attacks never occurred.
