Veterans Taking on the NFL

Two Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) posts in Ohio have announced that they will no longer be broadcasting NFL games at their facilities. Many other posts are expected to follow suit. In addition, the national commanders of both the American Legion and the VFW had harsh criticism for the players who participate in the so called protests and the league itself.

They believe that it is disrespectful to the flag, the nation, and to military veterans and active duty military. The NFL as a whole, and many teams are already feeling the economic effects of the anger among veterans and the general public.
