Evergreen State College Settles Lawsuit with White Professor

Sep 18, 2017

When the administration of Evergreen State College in Washington State allowed black students to take over and declare a “day of absence” that banned white student and faculty from the campus only one professor objected. He is Bret Weinstein and he and his wife both taught at the college. Weinstein refused to leave saying the day was blatant racial discrimination.

His life was threatened and he was widely criticized by other members of the faculty and members of the administration for refusing to give in to the demands. His job was threatened so he sued the college and it has now settled with him and his wife for $500,000.
