NFL Facing Uncertain Future

Sep 15, 2017

The National Football League has just had one of the worst opening weekends in the history of the professional league. Some stadiums were less than half full and less people were watching on television. This translates into lost revenue both for the league and individual teams. Part of the reason for less ticket sales is the ever escalating cost of tickets and food and drinks at the games.

However, it is also partly due to the NFL following the lead of ESPN and trying to use sports to indoctrinate Americans with the liberal political philosophy that trashes police officers, the American flag, and the National Anthem. The league also threatened entire states like Texas with loss of any future super bowls if the passed laws against mandatory transgender bathrooms. The bottom line seems to be that Americans are getting fed up and are tuning the NFL out.
