As the World Watches Irma, Texas and Louisiana Still Suffering

As media coverage is rightly focusing on Hurricane Irma and the damage it is doing to Florida it is important for people to remember that thousands of residents of coastal Texas and Louisiana are still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Harvey. Some areas are still flooded and thousands of people are still homeless.

Many people who have homes that are still standing are dealing with the aftermath of the flooding including the destruction of much of their personal property such as furniture and clothing, and in many cases the loss of vehicles and even businesses.
