As expected President Donald Trump has fulfilled another campaign promise by reversing the DACA program put in place by Obama. He has immediately been criticized for doing what his Attorney General Jeff Sessions, said he was legally obligated to do. Most legal experts agree that what Obama did in setting up DACA violated the Constitution that gives exclusive authority over immigration and naturalization to Congress.
By his actions, Trump has put the burden back where it belongs, on the legislative branch of government. What it does now remains to be seen.
