Sheriff Troy Nehls of Fort Bend County, Texas doesn’t pull punches when it comes to warning looters not to come into his county that was hit hard by Hurricane Harvey. He told looters that the people in his county believe in the Second Amendment and will not hesitate to defend their property. He said that in Texas “ordinary citizens have the right to dispatch looters in defense of their own property, or the property of others.”
The sheriff also warned that if you come into his county to loot may end up leaving in a body bag. So far, there have been no reports of looters in Fort Bend County.
