In the wake of North Korea’s latest test of a nuclear weapon the Trump administration is looking at various ways to respond. Already Secretary of Defense James Mattis has said that Trump had asked for and received a briefing on all available military options. Mattis issued a stern warning to Kim Jong Un that if there was any threat to the United States, our territories, or any of our allies there would be a massive and overwhelming military response.
Trump also indicated that there would be sanctions placed on any country doing business with the North Koreans. This is understood by many to include China and Russia.
