At a time when increasing numbers of black professional athletes are showing their disdain for the country that gives the freedom to make millions of dollars, one prominent athlete is standing up against the tide. Dak Prescott, the popular young quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys football team, has said he is “not at all” tempted to join the protest.
Instead of kneeling during the national anthem, to protest whatever is the liberal politically correct thing to protest that week, Prescott proudly stands at attention with his hand over his heart because he says we can’t take freedom for granted and he wants to honor the flag and the people who have fought for it. So far, no member of the Cowboys has joined in any protest.
