Natural Disaster Continues to Grow in Texas

The devastation caused by powerful Category 4 Hurricane Harvey continues to grow despite the fact that the storm has been downgraded to a tropical storm. The problems continue because the storm has stalled over Texas and is dumping torrential rains on cities like Houston that are very flood prone.

Rain and flooding is also hampering the start of recovery efforts in cities like Rockport, Texas that was hard hit by the 130 plus winds that came with the initial landfall of Harvey. Unfortunately, the rain that has exceeded two feet in some places and is expected to continue for several more days, and dump as much as two more feet of rain onto already flooded areas,
