11 California Counties Have More People Registered than Live There.

Right after being inaugurated, President Trump complained about millions of illegal votes. He attributed those votes as the reason why he lost the popular vote. According to Judicial Watch, the Election Integrity Project found that there are 11 California counties with more registered voters on the rolls than who actually live in the county. L.A. County’s error rate is estimated to around 144%. Judicial Watch sent a letter to California Secretary of State Alex Padilla asking him to clean up California’s rolls or risk litigation. “Allowing the names of ineligible voters to remain on the voting rolls harms the integrity of the electoral process and undermines voter confidence in the legitimacy of elections.” “As the top election official in California, it is your responsibility under federal law to coordinate California’s statewide effort to conduct a program that reasonably ensures the lists of eligible voters are accurate.“ Judicial Watch gave 14 days to respond and 90 days to correct the voter rolls.
