Turkey’s Erdogan Fomenting Unrest Among EU Turkish Immigrants

There is increasing evidence that the inflammatory anti-EU and anti-US rhetoric of Turkish president Recep Erdogan is influencing millions of Turks who live in the EU to take a more militant stand for Islamic separatism within the EU. Many Turkish migrants who oppose Erdogan have said that professionals and businessmen in Turkey have been brutally suppressed for opposing Erdogan power grabs and that those who oppose Erdogan in Europe are increasingly ostracized more nationalist Turks. Experts see this growing unrest among Turkish immigrants as a sign that Muslim relations in Austria and France is headed for increased conflict rather than peaceful integration.
